Light Elementalists are those Elementalists that have the power to create Light and control it. It doesn’t produce heat, but still can damage their opponents. After the Dark Elementalists witnessed how powerful the Light Element was, war was waged. The Dark Elementalists were able to slowly kill off the entire Element, and with it, it’s knowledge and history.

***Spoilers Ahead***

During the events of Elements of Lightning, Ace Venx finds himself constantly running into a man in robes of white. Eventually he finds out this man is a paragon of Light named Benediction. Benediction doesn’t reveal his blessing to Ace, but instead tells him of his destiny to end the war between the Lightning Elementalists and the Dark Elementalists, by becoming the last known Light Elementalist.
