The Venx (pronounced Ven-ex) are the last remaining family of Lightning Elementalists.

They have been at war for several years preceding Ace’s birth. From Ace’s father, Dlisr, he had learned that the Lokar had used the massive power of Darkness to move the Lokar home planet right next to the Venx home planet. The two planets share many war fronts with little safe zones. Both planets are on the opposite side of the universe from Trangia and Deslosus (at least that is what Ace is told). What is known about the Venx planet is that it shares very similar aspects of Trangia. The grasses are yellow, and the waters are orange. The sky during the day is orange too. Both Trangia and the Venx home are also normally cold-like (possibly chilly, breezy, or cloudy). This is why Ace was taken to Trangia to be raised, because the similarities.

Not every Venx is blessed by a paragon. It is actually a rare occurrence for one to be. There has been no record of a Venx with multiple blessings. This is because the Lightning paragons see the war as troubling and believe that the Venx should not need such power. Only the ones who have faith can stand any chance of gaining the multiple blessings.

Ace Venx is the son of Dlisr Venx. Ace grew up on Trangia, the main planet focus in Elements of Lightning, and discovered he was blessed by the Lightning Paragon of Thunder.

Dlisr Venx is Ace’s father, as stated above. He is blessed by the Storm Paragon. As prophesied, a moment in time where space and time bent together to allow Ace one visit of his home planet, unnamed to Ace due to it’s name holding power. During this brief time, Dlisr trains Ace to fight like a Venx fights and gives him a possible Lightning artefact before he is taken back to Trangia by the powers of space and time.

Jake Venx is Ace’s cousin, blessed by the Paragon of Nature. In the brief time Ace was able to be at the Venx home planet, Jake stepped through to help Ace, losing his original goal in the process. Not sure what the enemy is, Jake decides to stick around to help Ace through his endeavours on Trangia.
