I decided a while back that my book needed more of a fantasy look. So now my book is available with new art from the artist Cassandra. She can be found on DeviantArt and Tumblr as C-dra.
I’m quite happy with the new cover. Featuring the main character, Ace Venx, and the main bad guy, it has a much more fantasy feel to it.

Sequel! Sequel! SEQUEL!
Everyone likes series, right? Well I like the idea of writing them. I hope to catch people’s interest with my steampunk sequel to Elements of Lightning with not only a long coming series of books, but the idea that you could pick up any book in the series without the worry of having to read the ones before it. I hope this will bring in more fans if they get into the series after a few books are published. Or perhaps give people a variety of main characters while keeping to an overall plot.
Now it is still a series, so there will be references and links in the books for those who read it in order.
I hope by the time I am done writing the sequel, this will be apparent. Elements of Blood should be ready to go in the next few months.
Website In Progress
So I know a lot of authors have websites. I should have one too. But because my series is going to be open world, with my cousin’s upcoming novel and my own Shattered Soul series, I figured I’ll work on making a site that is about the series, not me as an author. This way it could have like a tab or something that you can see contributing authors to the open world and get facts and updates about the books.
The details are being smoothed out right now, so it may be some time before this happens, but I know it will. I want it to happen. Makes everything easier.
For A Cheaper Price, and A Different Perspective
So my book and ebook are now even cheaper. The ebook is now only a dollar, and the paperback is now 11 dollars on amazon and createspace.
In other news, the second in the series is coming along nicely. It should be done before summer. It’s a nice steampunk adventure addition to the shattered soul series. A different perspective from Ace’s for sure.
Reverting in Technology.
It’s really strange writing a novel about flying cars and instant transportation and then writing a Victorian steampunk novel to follow it.
I do believe this next novel will still appeal to those who like Elements of Lightning. Continuing the the universe of elements, Elements of Blood keeps the Shattered Soul going. If any one wants to know the main character, you could find out by reading Elements of Lightning.
Shattered Soul Series
Shattered Soul Series is the series of novels I have planned out to follow my first self-published novel, Shattered Soul: Elements of Lightning. It will pretty much follow the lives of certain characters from the first novel, but doesn’t really have an order to it after the first book. I’m in the process of writing the “2nd” and “3rd” books to the series and it won’t be long till I have them done.
